Dr. Fimreite received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1981, and received his Doctor of Optometry degree, summa cum laude in 1986. While a student, Dr. Fimreite received a number of scholarship and leadership awards, graduating in the top of his class.
Dr. Fimreite is a member of the American, California and Orange county Optometric Associations. Dr. Fimreite was an active clinical investigator for a leading contact lens company; testing and researching the latest contact lens designs and solutions.
Dr. Fimreite is currently contracted with over 100 skilled nursing facilities and institutions throughout Southern California helping to meet the visual demands of these residents. He is California State Board certified to treat medical eye conditions including Glaucoma as well as other numerous health conditions specific to this unique population.
Dr Fimreite has committed his professional career to enhancing his patient's visual abilities in their twilight years; focusing his efforts to maintain his patient's dignity while enhancing their quality of life in any way possible. He specializes in providing and prescribing advanced optical systems that give his patients the ability to read, watch TV and participate in their normal daily activities.
Dr. Atie received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1981, and received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1986. While a student, Dr. Atie received a number of leadership awards, graduating at the top of her class.
Prior to entering into private practice, Dr. Atie served as an associate professor at the Southern California College of Optometry as a resident in their San Bernardino Juvenile Hall outreach program. While involved in this program, Dr. Atie was very active in the study linking juvenile delinquency and visual disorders. To this day, Dr. Atie continues to work with the Santa Ana Unified School District to help meet the visual demands of its students.
In addition to serving the public locally, Dr. Atie also travels through out the United States and internationally teaching new and innovated surgical techniques to a variety of eye care providers.
Dr. Atie is a Fellow in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She is an active member of the Orange County, California and American Optometric Associations. Dr. Atie was recently presented by the Associations with a "25 Years of Dedicated Commitment" award in honor of her hard work and dedication to the profession of Optometry as well as her community over the last quarter century.
Dr. Mike received his undergraduate degree in International Business from Pepperdine University and worked as a Personal Banker for a year before deciding to switch careers into Optometry. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University College of Optometry in 2016, and as a student held leadership rolls which included being elected as his class’s Curriculum Representative two years in a row, and served as Vice President of the Optometric Private Practice Business Club (OPPBC) for two years in a row.
Dr. Mike’s 4th year rotations included LASIK Plus in Taylorsville, UT, the Colorado Springs VA Hospital, Denver Medical Hospital, and Case Western Reserve Hospital in Cleveland, OH. These sites gave him top-tier training and experience in medical optometry, which included co-managing patients with LASIK, cataract, and retinal surgeons. Dr. Mike is certified in treating glaucoma, treating eye infections, treating Dry Eye Syndrome, diagnosing and managing certain neurological disorders, co-managing diabetic and hypertensive patients. Dr. Mike also specializes in prescribing soft, hard, and specialty contact lenses, orthokeratology, and providing pediatric vision and ocular health care.
Dr. Mike will be leading the expansion of PAJE’s contact lens division, adding support for specialty contact lenses such as scleral contact lenses, used for the management of keratoconus and other corneal dystrophies, hybrid lenses, myopia control contact lenses, and colored contact lenses.
Dr. Grichine received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Archaeology from the University of Southern California in 2008. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree along with her Master's in Vision Science from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 2016.
Dr. Grichine was awarded the 2016 Chancellor's Award for outstanding academic and clinical skills, in addition to receiving the Dean Yager's Research Award for her research in head trauma rehabilitation and concussions.
Dr. Grichine has published several papers regarding the effects of mild traumatic brain injury and concussions on the visual system. She has experience performing vision therapy in athletes and veterans who suffer from visual disturbances associated with head trauma.
Dr. Grichine's clinical rotations specialized in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Sports Vision Therapy, Contact Lens and Ocular Pathology. Dr. Grichine received top-tier training and experience in medical optometry, and is certified to diagnose and treat certain medical conditions such as Dry Eye Syndrome, Computer Syndrome, and Glaucoma.
Dr. Grichine also specializes in pre/post examination of refractive surgeries such as LASIK, PRK, SMILE, ICL, Corneal Crosslinking, and Cataract surgery.
